This week, we all witnessed how Rolando Mendoza killed Hong Kong nationalities brutally. The result of this hostage taking incident made our neighboring country so disappointed and angry in various angles. But to think of it, how about our OFWs who were brutally murdered and abused? Did we Filipinos deprived their own individuality?
This hostage-taking scenario was not a proof that all these stout people with dark complexion are violent and sadistic. They fired us with bullets of frustrations without even looking in general. As if Rolando Mendoza was our country's symbol. Yes, we committed flaws, a lot. But we are all imperfect. We all deserve a second chance.
But they have their own flaws. These includes melamine scare which made almost the whole world aware not to buy milk products from China. Personally, I only complained about their milks and on how they are produced. We didn't treat them with such discrimination as our fellow countrymen suffer from their faults. I always bear in mind that not all of them are slipshod beings. I consider things.
Other Chinese nationalities, I think, do not like as well what's happening around the world because of the melamine scare. So do we. No one prayed that this would happen. These errors can be accounted to specific persons but for me, never blame all the Filipinos in this fiasco.
Being one of the affected Filipinos, we apologize for what happened. In this blog, I only present my side and not for the whole country. Opinion's opinion I guess. The other side fought for justice and our side fought for dignity. Respect is a must. Buddha enlightens. God finds ways.
